Ivanplats (Pty) Ltd is issuing this Request for Expressions of Interest to attract interested suppliers from the Mokopane Community to participate in the tendering process as the main Contractor on the following package:

Remove and reinstall shade net carports to new location (Average move distance 190m).
· Dig out, fill the holes (Supply own material) repaint, replant and concrete and commission shade net.
Manufacture supply and install 14 new double black shade net carport structures with 95% black shade net installed on the structures.
Note: This is a turnkey project where the contractor shall supply all their own resources, equipment and material required to execute the full scope of work including but not limited to:
· Trained and certified labor · Site Induction and training · Medicals · Personal protective Equipment (PPE) · Survey equipment to ensure carpark is installed according to layout.
· Impact breaker/Jack hammer as required. · Generator · Compressed air if required. · Transport truck with mounted crane to transport structures to the new location. · Any other equipment that might be required. · All equipment must be inspected and tagged before use on site.
· Crusher/ concrete mix · Water · Portland Cement · Barrier safety net – Orange and yellow

Main aspects of the Works include, but are not limited to, providing the following:
1.1 Site Clearance
Ensure that the site is safe to perform the required job. Ensure traffic management signs are in place around the work area.

- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The following are minimum requirements for the main Contractor position on this package:
- Business registration address within jurisdiction of Mogalakwena Local Municipality (preference will be given to Mokopane registered entities).
- Good project execution track record based on similar construction related services previously rendered.
- CIDB registration and grading: 2GB.
- Good track record based on compliance to the Mine Health and Safety Act and safety achievements in similar contracts executed.
- Must have a well-established safety management system.
- Written confirmation that the Contractor is not under any liquidity or legal confinements that may affect the performance and deliverance of any contract.
- Detailed material take-off and estimating capabilities.
- Must demonstrate that they have a proper understanding of resourcing similar related construction works.
- Must be able to develop a detailed, resource loaded, construction schedule.
- Must be able to demonstrate that they have a good track record in achieving project completion dates.
- RESPONDING TO THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Information given by the prospective Contractors shall be treated in strict confidence.
Note: this Request for Expressions of Interest does not amount to any contractual obligation on the part of Ivanplats, and that Ivanplats is not obliged to invite Requests for Proposal or Tenders from any or all who express interest by responding to this Request for Expressions of Interest.
Ivanplats reserves the right to cancel, suspend or withdraw the Request for Expressions of Interest process at any time and will not be responsible for any costs incurred by potential Contractors. The prospective Contractor is responsible for all cost associated with preparation and submission of their Expression of Interest.
If any criteria within the Expression of Interest submission is determined to be non-compliant, the submission will not be processed. If, however, the Contractor declares its non-compliance and offers an alternative solution that is acceptable, this may be considered.
Any information and/or documentation given and later found to be incorrect shall lead to disqualification of the prospective Contractor.
This document does not entail or imply any commitment on the part of Ivanplats, either financial or otherwise, nor shall it be considered a specific invitation to tender. This does not represent or constitute any obligation or commitment of Ivanplats to enter into any agreement with any entity or organisation.
Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification of the prospective Contractor.

Late submission will not be acceptable. Any application(s) received after the closing date will be considered as late and disqualified.
