Ivanplats (Pty) Ltd, Platreefs Project, Mokopane issues this Request for Expressions of Interest to attract interested suppliers from the Mokopane Community to participate in the tendering process as the Main Contractor on the following package:

- General Description of the Works
- The Scope of Works is for the fabrication and supply of the Underground Loading Conveyor required for the Platreef Project, Shaft 3.
The work includes, but shall not be limited to the items listed below.
Fabricate and Supply:
- Shop detailing of IFC drawings supplied
- All structural steelwork
- Fasteners (+10%)
- Galvanizing of steelwork to specification
- Rail wheel mounted shuttle conveyor structure including head chute capable of the duty described in data sheet no. 163-6-2700-M-0300_01
- Shuttle actuator anchor structure
- Screens, guards and safety equipment
- Safety devices including but not limited to trip switches and wires, plus emergency stops
- Conveyor drive including motor and control panel
- Drive, tail and snub pulleys
- Conveyor idlers and return idlers
- Conveyor tension screw take up
- Two impact beds under loading points
- Primary and secondary belt scrapers
- Belt shuttle actuators (2 No.)
- Belt maintenance actuator
- Pre Assembly
- at works of complete structure
- paint marking and numbering of steelwork and connections to facilitate re-assembly at site
- Manufacturing data packs
- Transport
- At the discretion of the fabricator the pre-assembled sections to be stripped down to transportable modular sections
- Specification, Codes and Standards of Manufacture:
In general, work and materials shall be in accordance with the latest practice and in particular in accordance with these Technical Specifications, and any amendments thereto and the South African National Standards (SANS standards) and other international standards such as ISO, IEC etc.
- SANS 2001-CS1:2005 Construction Works Part CS1: Structural Steelwork
- Steelwork to be Grade 355JR in accordance with EN10025:2
- Fasteners galvanized to SANS 10684
- Welding in line with Spec AWS D1.1
- The structure shall be Hot Dipped galvanized to Specification SANS 121
- SANS 1313 Conveyor Belt Idlers
- SANS 971:2013 Conveyor Belting
- Conveyor belting supplied shall make provision for on-site vulcanized splices
- Rail wheel mounted shuttle conveyor structure including head chute capable of the duty described in data sheet no. 163-6-2700-M-0300_01
- Minimum Information Requirements
The following to be submitted by prospective Suppliers for consideration in the EOI process:
- Completed and Signed Letter of Interest
- Business Profile
- Proof of residence of shareholders/members (PTO)
- Company Registration Documents (CK)
- SARS Tax Clearance Certificate
- Letter of Good Standing
- Any building society endorsement
- Proven project execution track record based on similar projects executed
- Responses to the requisites in the table below:

Kindly note that this Request for Expressions of Interest does not amount to any contractual obligation on the part of Ivanplats, and that Ivanplats is not obliged to invite Requests for Proposal or Tenders from any or all who express interest by responding to this Request for Expressions of Interest.
Any information and/or documentation given and later found to be incorrect shall lead to disqualification of the prospective Supplier.
The prospective Supplier is responsible for all cost associated with preparation and submission of their Expression of Interest.
Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification of the prospective Supplier.
